Give Up - 03.13.2021

Give up... trying to conform to societies views of you.

But, don't give in.

Conform to who YOU are. Find your passions, know what you want and who you are inside and out.

Give up... worrying about what people think.

But, don't give in.

Strive to be the best you. If you like to dance; then do it. If you love music no one else does; listen to it all the time. If you want to be anything someone says you cannot; be it. If it makes you happy to sit alone and be with your own thoughts; do it without a question.

Give up... doing everything for everyone.

But, don't give in.

Make your life balance. If it makes you happy to help, that's good. Just do not forget about yourself. It is not selfish to take care of you too.

Give up... giving too many chances.

But, don't give in.

Humans are creatures of habit. Remember that. If you let someone continue to walk all over you, then they will. There are millions of people in the world, go find someone who respects you.

Give up... being stressed.

But, don't give in.

Stress is basically a fact of life. But, it is also a killer of life. Take a break, go take a nap, watch a sunset, go on a trip, take yourself or meet a friend for lunch, or swing on a swing. The point is, take time to relax and rejuvenate.

Give up... on negativity. But, don't give in. There are endless paths to take in life. Find your happy... find your peace of mind.
